1. Add a Christmas Tree to Your Kitchen

Sure, you might have a tree in your living room, but why not add a second in the kitchen? This space by Studio McGee is the epitome of Christmas decor.

If you don’t have the space for a full-size tree, consider adding a mini one to your countertop or open shelves.

2. Decorate Your Kitchen Island with a Christmas Centerpiece

This kitchen island is the heart of the room, so it only makes sense to give it a festive touch with a Christmas centerpiece.

A large vase filled with faux greenery, pampas grass, and twigs adds a pop of color to the space.

To make your own, use floral foam to hold your greenery in place, and then add in your favorite faux stems.

Finally, weave in some twinkle lights for a magical touch.

3. Use Christmas Kitchen Towels

If you’re looking for a super simple way to bring Christmas cheer to your kitchen, then this is it.

Swap out your everyday dish towels for Christmas-themed ones.

You can find so many cute options at stores like Target, HomeGoods, and even on Etsy.

I love how my friend, Christy, used these cute red and white ones to add a pop of color to her kitchen.

4. Hang a Christmas Wreath in the Window

For a classic look, hang a wreath in the window over your sink or in front of the window above your kitchen table.

You can never have too many wreaths, so feel free to add one to your window and your cabinet doors.

5. Add a Christmas Garland to Your Window

If you have a window in your kitchen, consider adding a garland to the window sill to add some Christmas charm to your kitchen.

You can simply drape a faux garland across the window sill or you can attach it to the top of the window with a command hook and let it hang down.

Then, you can add some lights or ribbon to your garland for a little extra Christmas magic!

6. Use Christmas Kitchen Canisters

One of the easiest ways to add some holiday cheer to your kitchen is to switch out your everyday canisters for a set of Christmas ones.

I have a big collection of canisters, and I love using them in my holiday decor. You can find canisters in any style and price point, and they are perfect for storing cookies, hot cocoa, and other holiday treats.

I found this set of red and white canisters at HomeGoods and filled them with some of my favorite Christmas cookies. You can also use canisters to store other holiday goodies like hot cocoa, marshmallows, and candy.

If you don’t have canisters, you can still get the same look by filling a few mason jars with your favorite treats and adding some festive ribbon and a tag.

7. Add Christmas Decor to Your Open Kitchen Shelves
